Terms & Conditions

When ordering WINGBOX's services, you, as "Sender," agree, on your behalf and on behalf of the receiver of the Shipment ("Receiver") and anyone else with an interest in the Shipment, that these General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") shall apply.

Every Shipment is transported on a limited liability basis as provided herein under "Shipment Value Protection" ("SVP"). If the Sender requires greater protection, insurance must be purchased and arranged by the Sender from an insurance company, agent, or broker.

1. Definitions

  • "WINGBOX": Any member of PT. Royal Persada Cargo.

  • "GTC": General Terms and Conditions of WINGBOX.

  • "Sender": The party receiving delivery services from WINGBOX in accordance with a respective agreement.

  • "Receiver": The addressee to whom the Shipment is sent.

  • "Shipment": Parcels or packages containing goods, documents, or other materials traveling under one "waybill," handed over to WINGBOX for transport by any means.

  • "Multi-piece Shipment" (MPS): A Shipment with more than one parcel or package under one waybill.

  • "Waybill" (Airwaybill or AWB): Shipping document or identifier containing Shipment details.

  • "Prohibited Goods": Defined in Section 4.

  • "Actual Weight": The physical weight of a package in kilograms.

  • "Volumetric Weight": Calculated as (Length x Width x Height) / 5000.

  • "Chargeable Weight": The greater value between actual and volumetric weight, used for rate calculation.

  • "Length + Girth Combined": A dimensional reference for cargo: Length + (2 x Width) + (2 x Height).

  • "Shipment Value Protection" (SVP): Coverage for higher liability limits against loss or damage, arranged by WINGBOX.

  • "Warsaw Convention and Montreal Convention": International treaties regulating liability for international air carriage.

2. Scope

These GTC apply to all agreements between WINGBOX and Sender for transport and delivery services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Revisions to the GTC are posted at wingbox.id. Continued use of WINGBOX's services constitutes acceptance of the updated GTC.

3. Agreement & Services

Contracts are concluded either in written form or upon Shipment handover to WINGBOX.

Sender's Responsibilities:

  • Correctly label and provide necessary Shipment details.

  • Provide special instructions in an agreed format.

WINGBOX's Rights:

  • Decide routing and transport modes.

4. Prohibited Goods

WINGBOX does not transport:

  • Items violating statutory or customs laws.

  • Dangerous or hazardous goods as per IATA, ICAO, or ADR.

  • Counterfeit or pirated products.

  • Live animals, human remains, narcotics, cash, or weapons.

  • Valuable items without the owner's risk acknowledgment.

5. Customs Clearance

The Sender is responsible for:

  • Accurate documentation and compliance with customs regulations.

  • Risks and consequences of export/import restrictions.

WINGBOX is not liable for delays due to customs holds or missing documentation.

6. Unacceptable and Undeliverable Shipments

Unacceptable Shipments:

  • Address issues, inadequate packaging, or prohibited items.

Undeliverable Shipments:

  • Receiver's refusal, customs issues, or damaged packaging.

WINGBOX may return, reroute, or dispose of such Shipments.

7. Charges

  • Charges are based on the higher of actual or volumetric weight.

  • All prices exclude taxes, customs duties, and fees.

  • Invoices are payable within the granted credit period.

8. Liability

WINGBOX is only liable for direct loss or damage to Shipments under the limits specified:

  • Maximum liability: USD 50,000 for Sender's packaging.

  • For high-value items (e.g., jewelry): USD 1,000 or USD 20/kg.

  • Delay or indirect losses are not covered.

9. Claims

Claims must be submitted within 21 days of delivery. Evidence of the damage must be provided.

10. Circumstances Beyond Control

WINGBOX is not liable for loss or damage caused by:

  • Natural disasters, war, pandemics, or Force Majeure events.

  • Acts or omissions of third parties.

11. Warranties of Sender and Indemnification

The Sender warrants compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Sender indemnifies WINGBOX against third-party claims arising from non-compliance.

12. Data Protection

WINGBOX processes personal data only as necessary for service delivery, adhering to applicable privacy laws. Sender must ensure lawful data sharing with WINGBOX.

13. Final Provisions

Disputes are governed by Indonesian law and subject to its jurisdiction.
